2019-2020 North Platte Junior High Back to School Information

Thursday, August 15th New students and 6th graders report to HS commons @ 5:30pm,     7th & 8th graders report @ 6:30pm

What is Back to School Night: This is a night when NP staff welcomes back our students. The students can pick up their schedules, take school pictures, bring supplies to put in their lockers, meet the teachers, and tour the school.

New this year:

New students to the district: Parents may complete their student’s registration paperwork ahead of time by downloading and completing the forms found on our website. Go to www.nppanthers.org, click on the Junior High tab, then under “Student Enrollment,” click on the Enrollment Packet.  You must complete these pages and bring proof of residency to the JH office prior to or on Back to School Night.

Returning students: It is no longer necessary for parents of returning North Platte students to complete the same amount of the enrollment paperwork as in the past. We have printed all of your current information. You will need to verify that it is still correct/ or make any necessary changes. You may complete this at back to school night.

7th/8th graders: You may stop by the office between August 12th or 13th betweem 8am-4pm; 8/13; or August 14th between 8am-6pm to complete the necessary paperwork. Students will still need to attend Back to School Night to pick up schedules and take their school photo for yearbook.

If your student is due for immunizations, a sheet from the school nurse was given to you last May. Your student MUST have proof of the immunization(s) before they will be allowed to attend on the first day of school. If you have questions or need to submit proof of new/updated immunizations, please see Nurse Carmen on Back to School Night or you may email her at carmen.smith@nppanthers.org .

Scholastic Photography will be here to take your student’s school photo. This photo will be used in the yearbook and will be used to create a Student ID/Lunch card.
